AMD Prepares Ryzen Pro 9000: New Business Processors with Zen 5 Architecture and 65 W TDP
12:18, 31.07.2025
AMD appears to be preparing to announce a new generation of processors for business customers, the Ryzen Pro 9000 series. As with the previous line, three models are expected, but this time with Zen 5 architecture, more modern features, and low power consumption.
Initial Specifications: 6 to 12 cores
Well-known insider momomo_us has published a leak detailing the basic characteristics of the new chips.
The most powerful in the Ryzen 9 Pro 9945 line will have 12 cores, 65-watt TDP, 3.4 GHz frequency, and 64 MB of third-level cache.
The Ryzen 7 Pro 9745 will have 8 cores and a higher base frequency of 3.8 GHz, while the Ryzen 5 Pro 9645 will have 6 cores with a frequency of 3.9 GHz and 32 MB of L3 cache.
Zen 5 Architecture as the Main Upgrade
Despite the fact that the frequency characteristics have remained at the level of the previous generation or even decreased slightly (for example, in the flagship model), a noticeable increase in performance is expected due to the transition to the new Zen 5 microarchitecture. It is this that should be the main factor in improving performance.
When to Expect the Announcement?
The official presentation date for the Ryzen Pro 9000 series has not yet been announced. However, given the recent release of the Threadripper 9000 Pro WX professional processors, we can expect the appearance of more “mass-market” solutions for the corporate segment in the coming months.
