It was recently announced that Intel is preparing an offer based on its new architecture.
Details about Intel's new product
VideoCardz reports that Intel plans to release the Core G3 series, which will be used in portable gaming devices. At this stage, the company has not yet disclosed any details about the name, but Intel has confirmed that the specialized series is aimed at consoles.
Insider sources have revealed that the processor will have a built-in Arc B380 graphics card with 12 Xe3 cores. According to unconfirmed information within the company, the project is called Arc G3.
Based on available information, the G3 will be equipped with 14 processor cores. The configuration will have 4 LP cores, 2 P cores, and 8 E cores. Therefore, these facts point to the Panther Lake architecture. In addition, there is mention of a variant based on the Arc B360 GPU.
Intel and AMD have slightly different views on the development of portable consoles, and the companies have even had a public dispute over this issue. Intel accuses AMD of monopolizing the market by using old architecture. AMD responded that it is impossible to simply use a laptop processor in consoles due to excessive power consumption.
