DDR5 Prices in Europe Finally Catch Their Breath
13:22, 23.02.2026
If you have been tracking DDR5 prices, you probably felt the shock this winter. Throughout late summer 2025, a typical 32 GB DDR5 kit in the EU hovered around €95 to €100. Then October changed everything. Prices surged. November accelerated the climb. By early February, some kits peaked between €430 and €470.
Now you can see the curve bending downward.
Recent data shared by hardware enthusiasts and verified by Tom’s Hardware shows that prices in Europe have dropped by roughly 10 to 15 percent compared to their peak. This does not erase the spike, but it signals movement in a more reasonable direction.
What Retail Checks Reveal in Germany
To get a clearer picture, analysts reviewed five popular 32 GB DDR5 6000 and 6400 dual channel kits from brands like Crucial, Corsair, G.Skill, Kingston, and Patriot on Amazon Germany.
Two kits stand out. A Corsair set fell from €480 in early February to €425. A Kingston kit dropped from €550 in January to €463. Other models also cost less than they did at their recent highs.
Unlike the US market, European prices include VAT. In the United States, prices remain volatile. Some brands show small corrections, but no firm downward trend has formed yet.
What This Means for You
You still face inflated DDR5 pricing due to the ongoing global memory shortage. Manufacturers need new production capacity or more efficient processes before we see real stability. In our view, this correction may offer a short window of opportunity. If you plan a PC upgrade, you might benefit from watching the market closely over the next few weeks.
