Does the Intel Core 9 273PQE Bartlett Lake outperform the i9-14900K?

Performance benchmarks for the Core 9 273PQE have recently surfaced online. Despite having fewer cores, the chip has demonstrated quite good performance figures.
The new processor operates exclusively on performance cores (P-Cores), and the maximum configuration consists of 12 cores.
Intel Core 9 273PQE Test Results
The results in the PassMark multi-threaded test reached 45,427 points. According to these figures, this is 22 percent lower than the Core i9-14900K, but there is one important point - the Core 9 273PQE has only 12 cores and 24 threads, compared to the flagship’s 24 cores and 32 threads. The new architecture features more powerful cores, so in some single-threaded tasks, it matches the top-tier i9.
When compared to the Core i7-14700K, the Core 9 273PQE outperforms it by 4% in single-threaded mode and trails by only 12% in multi-threaded mode. So, having stronger cores makes a significant difference.
The Bartlett Lake lineup is geared toward embedded systems, so these processors won’t be officially used in regular PCs. This approach is mainly focused on gaming, heavy computing, and other tasks where core performance is far more important than the number of threads.
