Fresh test results of the Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics based on the Xe3 architecture, which will be part of upcoming Panther Lake mobile processors, have appeared online.
According to Geekbench benchmark data, this iGPU shows performance capable of competing with popular discrete laptop GPUs, particularly the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop.
Testing Details
The leak concerns a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro laptop. Instead of the previously spotted chip, it features an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor. This is a powerful 16-core mobile CPU with a configuration of 4 P-cores, 8 E-cores, and 4 LP-E cores.
The chip’s base clock is 1.90 GHz, with the ability to boost up to 4.80 GHz. The processor is equipped with 18 MB of L3 cache.
The top-end integrated Arc B390 graphics runs at 2500 MHz and includes 12 Xe3 compute units. The laptop used for testing had 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
Geekbench Results
In the OpenCL test, the Intel Arc B390 integrated GPU scored 57,001 points. This is 7% higher than the previous result of 52,946 points, indicating Intel’s active optimization efforts ahead of release.
This score places the Arc B390 on the same level as mainstream discrete GPUs, particularly the RTX 3050 Ti Laptop. For an integrated solution that does not require dedicated cooling or power, this is an impressive achievement and a significant step forward.
What’s Next?
Although the OpenCL results look promising, it is important to remember that this API is not the primary one for gaming. Integrated GPUs will need to prove their real value and gaming performance in Vulkan and DirectX 12 tests.
The official launch of Panther Lake processors is expected in January 2026.
