Nvidia to Lead a $500 Billion Fund for AI Infrastructure Development
12:48, 11.08.2026
The company announced the formation of a specialized investment fund of up to $500 billion, designed to build and modernize data centers. The project aims to facilitate and speed up the deployment of AI factories worldwide and provide clients with accessible resources.
Not Without the Help of Financial Giants
To realize such an ambitious initiative, Nvidia has joined forces with Wall Street's largest institutional investors. Memorandums of understanding have already been signed with entities such as BlackRock, Blackstone, Apollo, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR.
Nvidia itself plans to provide up to 25% of the required funding for each specific project (capped at $125 billion in total), leaving the primary financial burden to its partners.
What Is the Point of the Fund?
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang noted that the new financial platforms will help clients gain access to necessary computing resources and build AI factories that "will power every industry and country in the AI era."
As capital expenditures of the largest US tech companies approach $760 billion this year, favorable financing from the new fund will allow Nvidia's clients to acquire essential infrastructure and compute accelerators more quickly and on attractive terms.
