OpenAI expects the next $100 billion in investments in a new round of financing

Amazon's investments in AI leaders

The deal between OpenAI and Amazon may involve not only financial investments but also the possibility of a mutually beneficial exchange between the companies. OpenAI may use Amazon Trainium chips, and Amazon may gain access to OpenAI models.
In addition to Amazon, Nvidia, SoftBank, and Microsoft are likely to participate in the round. In the fourth quarter of this year, OpenAI plans to go public, and concerns have arisen that Anthropic may do so first.
