Samsung Introduces Exynos 2600 — the First 2-Nanometer Chip for Smartphones
13:10, 19.12.2025
Samsung has announced its flagship Exynos 2600 processor, built using a groundbreaking 2-nanometer GAA manufacturing process. This chip will form the foundation of the upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup, which will focus on increased performance and improved energy efficiency.
Exynos 2600 Features
The key architectural feature of the new processor is the complete abandonment of low-power cores. The chip features a 10-core CPU, with all cores designed for high performance. As a result, overall performance has increased by 39% compared to the previous generation.
Graphics and Built-in AI
The chip is equipped with the Xclipse 960 graphics accelerator, which is twice as powerful and 50% faster than its predecessor.
The integrated neural processing unit has received a 113% performance boost, enabling generative AI to run directly on the device.
Professional Cameras and Overheating Protection
The new processor supports cameras with resolutions of up to 320 MP and 8K video recording. To better handle heavy workloads, Samsung has implemented Heat Path Block (HPB) technology, which reduces thermal resistance of the device by 16%, helping prevent overheating.
The Exynos 2600 has already entered mass production and is expected to debut in the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus models.
