Serpent Lake with NVIDIA RTX Graphics and Other Plans from Intel
13:00, 08.04.2026
Intel is currently working on the new Serpent Lake processor, which will be the first chip to feature an NVIDIA RTX graphics unit. Information has also been released regarding a new generation of high-performance cores based on the Copper Shark architecture.
Information about Serpent Lake
Serpent Lake is planned to be a separate line of processors offering maximum performance in a compact form factor. A key feature of the new product will be the use of a GPU block based on NVIDIA RTX technology. The release is expected to take place around 2028 or 2029, so details regarding the exact configuration are not yet known. Most likely, the chip will feature graphics based on the Rubin architecture or its successor. This could mark the first time a chiplet with an NVIDIA RTX-class GPU appears in an Intel product.
Razer Lake, Titan Lake, and other solutions
We are also already familiar with the Razer Lake-AX solutions, which will succeed Nova Lake and are expected to be available in 2027–28.
The next solution will be Titan Lake, followed by the expected launch of Hammer Lake. And only after this important stage will Serpent Lake likely appear on the market.
Golden Eagle and Copper Shark
Another important detail is the new P-core architecture, known as Copper Shark. As for the E-Cores, or energy-efficient cores, they will use the Golden Eagle architecture.
If the company’s plans come to fruition, the processor market could change significantly due to the integration of NVIDIA RTX graphics and the performance of compute cores into a single chip.
