In July of this year, Wireshark 4.4.7, a network analyzer, was released. The release of version 4.4 was in the summer of 2024. The release of version 1.0.0 was in 2008. The code for this network analyzer is available under the GPLv2 license.
Characteristics of Wireshark 4.4.7
The main differences in the new version concern protocol support and bug fixes, with some changes made to the project code.
The improvements concern TCP flow graphics, data I/O, VoIP flows/calls, and other dialogs and interfaces.
Code support for TLS, BT LE LL, LIN, WebSocket, AT, Logcat Text, genl, ZigBee ZCL, nvme, and other protocols has been updated.
Version 4.4.7 is available for Linux, Windows, and macOS users.
