How to hide inactive services in the Client Area?

If you have cancelled, terminated, or otherwise inactive services in your HostZealot account, you can hide them from service tables to keep your Client Area organized.

There are two ways to do this:

  • Hide inactive services automatically using your account settings.
  • Filter services manually using the Status filter in a service table.

1. Hide inactive services automatically

This option is useful if you want to see only active services whenever you open your service lists.

  1. Log in to your HostZealot Client Area.
  2. Open Settings and select the User Settings tab.
  3. Under General Settings, find Table settings.
  4. Enable the Hide Inactive Services checkbox.

Once enabled, this setting automatically filters all service tables to display only services with the Active status.

The setting is saved to your user account, so it remains enabled when you log out and sign in again.

Note:
The Hide Inactive Services setting remains active even if you click Clear to reset the filters in a service table. To display inactive services again, disable this option in User Settings.

2. Hide services using the Status filter

If you prefer to control which services are displayed without changing your account settings, you can use the filters available in service tables.

  1. Open My Services and select All Services, or open a specific service category.
  2. Find the Status column.
  3. Click the filter icon next to Status.
  4. Select Active to display only active services.

The table will now show services matching your selected status.

Your filter selection is stored locally in your browser. If you log out and sign in again using the same browser, the previously selected filters will still be applied.

Unlike the Hide Inactive Services account setting, manually selected filters are browser-specific. They may not be available when you use another browser or clear your browser's stored data.

Reset your filters

To remove manually selected filters, click Clear above the service table.

This resets the table filters and allows you to see services with different statuses again, provided that Hide Inactive Services is disabled in your account settings.

Which option should you use?

  • Use Hide Inactive Services if you always want to see only active services across your Client Area.
  • Use the Status filter if you occasionally want to display services with a particular status or customize your service lists.

Both options only change which services are displayed in the Client Area. They do not cancel, delete, or modify your services.
