How to enable two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security when you sign in to the HostZealot Client Area. In addition to your regular login credentials, you will need to enter a verification code generated by an authenticator app when 2FA verification is required.

To enable two-factor authentication:

  1. Log in to the HostZealot account.
  2. Click Settings in the upper-right corner.

  3. Open User Settings and in the Two-factor authentication section, click Enable.

  4. Follow the instructions to connect your authenticator app.

  5. Scan the QR code or enter the secret key manually.
  6. Enter the verification code generated by your authenticator app and click Enable.

Once 2FA is enabled, you will be asked to enter a verification code from your authenticator app when 2FA verification is required during login.

You can disable 2FA from the same User Settings section. If you have any problems disabling 2FA, please contact HostZealot Support.
