Broadcom representatives say that the Wi-Fi 8 access chip will have a hardware-accelerated telemetry module to optimize AI networks. This module will function in real time to collect data on network performance, environmental conditions, and devices. Collecting such information can help optimize perception, identify anomalies, and improve security through a predictive approach.
The company provides access to four different chips:
- BCM43820 and BCM43840 (for enterprise use).
- BCM6718 (for home access).
- BCM43109 (for mobile access).
