Intel employees have posted information about possibly releasing a new generation of devices. According to the available information, the company is intensively working on the Celestial video card based on the Xe3 architecture.
What is the current stage of Celestial development?
Currently, production is at the modeling stage. No physical GPUs have been produced yet, but the digital model based on Intel Xe3 architecture is ready.
Many of the LinkedIn profiles of Intel employees report that they are actively working on testing the new GPUs before they are physically produced. It is known that the work on Xe3 has already been completed, and Intel is waiting for the first chips.
After the testing stage, which Intel is currently at, the next step will be trial production. At the moment, emulation is likely taking place to identify certain weaknesses before creating the first chips.
It is not yet known how many models will be in the series and whether they are intended for laptops or PCs. The main thing that is clear is that Intel is planning to launch Celestial.
