Insights on AMD Ryzen 9000

Official information about AMD Ryzen 9000 processors will be revealed at Computex 2024, but a slide from the conference has been leaked. The information in it relates to 4 Ryzen 9000 processors and has a detailed description of all the characteristics.

The top-of-the-line 9,9950X modification will have 32 threads, 16 cores, and will operate at the highest frequency of 5.7 GHz. As for the cache memory, this processor will have 80 MB. The next Ryzen 9 9900X processor will have the following characteristics - 76 MB of cache, 12 cores, and 24 threads. In both of these variants, TDP indicators are 50 watts lower compared to previous modifications.

The Ryzen 7 9700X will have 8 cores and 16 threads, 40 MB of cache, and a frequency of up to 5.5 GHz.  AMD Ryzen 5 9600X will have an acceleration of up to 5.4 GHz. These two processors will have lower TDP and higher maximum clock speed.

The new generation of processors may become available to users as early as next month. According to insider sources, there is a high probability that 9900X and 9 9950X will be released in July of this year. In addition to the new series of processors, B850 and X870 motherboards are planned to be released.

As for the prices of the new products, the actual information will be presented at Computex 2024. According to previous information, the pricing policy may be as follows: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X - $699, Ryzen 7 9700X - $399, Ryzen 9 9900X - $549, and Ryzen 5 9600X - $299.
