xAI has introduced a new version of Grok, which can reason, recognize, and respond to users’ emotions.
Among all existing AI models, Grok 4.1 has shown the best results in the specialized EQ-Bench benchmark for evaluating emotional intelligence.
Two New Modes
Grok 4.1 now includes two operating modes:
- “Fast” model for instant responses.
- “Reasoning” model for deeper query analysis.
Expanded Availability
Another important update is the expanded availability of the model. Users can try the capabilities of Grok 4.1 without a paid subscription, making advanced AI accessible to a wider audience.
The new model is already available on the official xAI website as well as in the mobile app.
