NVIDIA announced that it has joined a global alliance of technology leaders to launch Stargate in the United Arab Emirates. The goal of the initiative is to create an advanced AI infrastructure that will be the foundation for digital sovereignty, economic growth and technological leadership in the UAE.
Stargate: A New Stage in the Development of National AI
The Stargate project is being implemented under the auspices of G42 Holding Company and is a strategic platform for accelerating the adoption of AI in various sectors, from science and healthcare to energy and finance. With its help, the UAE plans not only to strengthen its own technological position, but also to become a global hub for the development and application of advanced AI models.
The Foundation is NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Accelerated Systems
A key element of Stargate's infrastructure will be the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GB200 computing platform, built on the latest Grace Blackwell GB300 architecture. These systems deliver the high performance and energy efficiency required to train and deploy advanced generative AI models.
