Qualcomm recently announced the release of the Arduino Ventuno Q single-board computer, which is designed for tasks related to AI and robotics systems. The new project is based on the STM32H5 microcontroller and the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 processor.
Features of the new project from Qualcomm
The new system will run on the Adreno A623 graphics core, the Dragonwing IQ8 processor with an 8-core ARM Cortex CPU, and the Hexagon Tensor neural processor.
In addition, the project has 64 GB of built-in eMMC storage and 16 GB of RAM. If necessary, storage can be expanded using the M.2 NVMe Gen4 slot. Support for Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, USB cameras, and a 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet port is also available.
The single-board computer will be available with the Arduino App Lab platform, which includes trained AI models. Available speech and gesture recognition systems, large language models, and other algorithms will be able to function offline.
In addition, the platform supports a robotics stack along with deterministic motor control and video processing. So, with Ventuno Q, you get access to machines that perceive information and act on a single board, eliminating the need for the cloud.
