“Sharge Disk Pro” as The Tiny Powerhouse That Redefines Portable Storage
12:01, 07.10.2025
Sharge unveiled Disk Pro, a pocket-sized SSD hub. It combines high performance with a size no larger than a credit card. This elegant device combines a solid-state drive, a full-featured USB hub, and an active cooling system. The company has called it the world's first universal portable SSD drive.
It is currently available for funding on Kickstarter.
Disk Pro has up to 4 TB of TLC memory inside with a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps. It supports USB-C, USB-A (3.0 and 2.0), and HDMI 2.1. Users can stream 4K video at 144 Hz or 8K at 30 Hz via HDMI.
Smart Power and Seamless Compatibility
The USB-C port handles Power Delivery with up to 100W input and 80W output, so you can charge your devices while transferring data. Sharge says the Disk Pro has been tested with over 800 devices—including MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, Android phones, cameras, and gaming consoles like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch.
The built-in USB-C cable means no extra adapters or power bricks are needed for lightweight gadgets. And thanks to its Ice-Storm cooling system, a small internal fan spins up to 10,000 rpm in Turbo mode to keep temperatures around 35°Cduring heavy use.
Small but Mighty
Weighing 150 grams and measuring 90×61×11 mm, the Disk Pro attaches magnetically to laptops or smartphones for a steady connection. It even supports OTA updates for smooth performance with future devices.
Early backers can grab the Disk Pro for $189 (1TB), $289 (2TB), or $469 (4TB). Retail prices will start at $239 once the Kickstarter campaign ends.
