The Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme X2E-96-100 processor has appeared in the Geekbench test database.
Analysis of test results
The testing was performed on an ASUS Zenbook A16 configuration with 48 GB of RAM. According to the results, the system scored 23,198 points in multi-core and 4,033 points in single-core testing. In terms of technical characteristics, the chip has 18 cores and a base clock speed of 4.45 GHz.
These are the first results for the model before the release of Snapdragon X2 Elite laptops. The new Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme will be the flagship version. Testing in Geekbench confirmed this fact precisely because the system has a large amount of RAM and advanced capabilities for multitasking and AI functions.
Of course, benchmark results are only part of the full picture; we need to wait for the actual performance of Snapdragon X2 Elite laptops. Comparing actual performance in a Windows environment may be a key factor.
Snapdragon X2-based laptops are scheduled to become publicly available in April of this year.
