Two days after Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh processors went on sale, their prices exceeded the announced prices

Intel’s new processors were recently announced and released on March 26. After just 48 hours, prices for the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus had risen significantly above the recommended prices.
Sales launch and processor prices
Sales have already begun in the U.S., but the new processors are not yet available in all regions. Current prices for Intel’s new products are as follows: Core Ultra 5 250K Plus ($219.99) and Core Ultra 7 270K Plus ($349.99). The manufacturer’s recommended prices for the Ultra 7 270K Plus and the Ultra 5 250K Plus were $ 299 and $200, respectively.
At all available retailers, prices are significantly higher than the manufacturer’s recommended prices. Thus, purchasing a processor at the announced prices is not possible at this stage. Increased demand for AI and certain geopolitical challenges are negatively impacting the market as a whole, so access to new processors is already a positive outcome for consumers.
