The 2025 reports also recorded the lowest profit level since 2010, reaching only $52.9 billion. Despite these figures, Intel is satisfied with its fourth-quarter profitability. Thanks to AI, demand was able to exceed supply. Additionally, losses for 2025 totaled $300 million, which is significantly lower than the $1.2 billion reported in 2024.
Due to the rapid integration of AI, demand for x86 systems remains fairly stable. For the fourth quarter of 2025, the company's profitability was $13.7 billion.
The company's shipments were limited due to the shortage of silicon wafers from TSMC. Intel reported a loss of $600 million for the quarter. The company was only able to achieve near-break-even thanks to huge investments from Nvidia, SoftBank, Silver Lake, and other organizations, amounting to $20.4 billion. However, despite external financing, last year was unprofitable.
The company's financial performance is uneven and varies by segment. For example, client computing systems (CCG) achieved profitability of $8.2 billion in the fourth quarter. Data Center and AI Group (DCAI) revenue was $4.7 billion for the same period.
