ASUS Enters the Intel Arc Arena with a GPU Built for AI, Not Gaming
15:12, 19.10.2026
ASUS has now come onboard with Intel Arc graphics cards but gamers need not celebrate much as this latest UGen Intel Arc Pro B70 by ASUS is aimed at professionals who require computer performance for AI and not higher frame rates in their games.
The graphics card features 32GB of GDDR6 memory with ECC error detection. It has a maximum clock rate of 2,800MHz and is powered by the Intel BMG-G31 GPU that comprises 32 Xe cores. The graphics card was specifically developed by ASUS for the purpose of conducting local AI inference on your own hardware, rather than having to rely on the cloud.
Four GPUs, 128GB of Memory, and Plenty of Computing Power
The Arc Pro B70 delivers up to 22.94 TFLOPS of FP32 performance and 367 TOPS for INT8 calculations. Its 256-bit memory bus provides bandwidth of 608GB/s. The card consumes up to 310W, occupies two expansion slots, and uses a blower-style cooling system.
ASUS also highlights multi-GPU configurations. You can combine up to four cards in a compatible system, bringing total video memory to 128GB. The company lists support for tools and frameworks such as Ollama, llama.cpp, vLLM, PyTorch, and OpenVINO. Pricing and retail availability remain unannounced.
Our Take
ASUS is reacting to the increased demand for local AI with high processing capabilities. Having easier access to the hardware would mean that developers and entrepreneurs will have more autonomy in relation to their computing data and costs. Nevertheless, compatibility with software and power efficiency will still matter.
