The company has not yet announced the release of the new product, but the information on the official website indicates a possible update to the series.
Release of the new Ryzen 9000X3D series
Information about the possible release of the Ryzen 9000X3D series appeared last month. Most likely, two models will be available: the 7 9850X3D and the 9 9950X3D2. The Ryzen 7 9850X3D will have 16 threads and 8 cores, and a TDP of 120W. The updates will be in the frequency, which will have a boost up to 5.6 GHz. This approach will have a significant impact on gaming tasks.
AMD has confirmed that it will use the updated 2nd-generation V-Cache. The new version runs faster and cooler.
However, AMD's competitors are not standing still, with Intel already working on an analogue of 3D V-Cache, which is more likely to feature LLC blocks. However, these chips will not be released before the end of 2026. Therefore, the high-performance gaming processor segment will still be dominated by AMD.
