A new collaboration between Nvidia and MediaTek is possible at the upcoming Computex exhibition. Most likely, the companies will present a co-produced N1 processor for PCs based on the Arm architecture.
New N1 and N1X chips for laptops and desktops will be presented at the exhibition. Regarding the mass availability of the chips, the product will only be available on the market in 2026 due to certain technical challenges.
When will the new line of processors be presented?
CEOs of the companies will participate in the exhibition in Taipei on May 19 and 20. Most likely, it is during this period that the new line of processors with Blackwell GPU and Arm CPU will be presented.
Thanks to such a powerful partnership, the companies plan to enter markets currently dominated by other manufacturers. The Blackwell graphics cards that will be in the new processors guarantee higher performance and better compatibility with games. This factor will be crucial for gamers if the power consumption is also moderate. The new processors are likely to have 10 energy-efficient Cortex-A725 cores and 10 Cortex-X925 cores.
Despite the great interest in the new processors, the product's launch on the mass market may be delayed. Rumors of technical difficulties have not yet been officially confirmed.
