Digital Chat Station recently revealed detailed specifications for Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processors.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Specifications
The new 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and 8 Elite Gen 6 processors are based on the SM8975 and SM8950 chipsets. Most likely, the new versions will be available in the next generations of smartphones. The 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro will feature a 2+3+3 CPU configuration and will be manufactured using TSMC’s process technology. Additionally, it will support LPDDR6 or LPDDR5X memory.
The 8 Elite Gen 6 is also built on a 2nm process and will use the A845 GPU and LPDDR5X memory. So the main difference between the processors lies in the memory and the GPU.
Most likely, the new lineup from Qualcomm will become available this year, though there are no official announcements yet.
