According to recently announced information, Nvidia plans to offer Nscale (an AI infrastructure provider) credit guarantees that are based on the debt connected with Anthropic. The support from Nvidia can reach billions of dollars, according to uncovered details.
Insights into the new agreements
Nscale is a UK-based company, and Nvidia is on the list of its major investors. The intended help from Nvidia will be oriented toward supporting power infrastructure as well as building an AI data center in West Virginia. This data center is planned to be used by Anthropic.
As of now, the deal has not been signed yet, so its terms might be changed and are not yet clear to the general public.
Agreements between Anthropic and Nscale were made in the summer with the intention to spend approximately $45 billion. These funds will be spent on the rental of computing power in the new West Virginia’s data center.
There is also another agreement between Anthropic and Nscale regarding the ordering of 460 megawatts of AI power. This deal is also approximately evaluated at almost $45 billion as well.
