ASRock's Reddit channel has reported a Ryzen 9950X3D failure and more than 107 reports of problems with Ryzen 7 9800X3D processors.
The problem with AMD processors has been reported before
The problems with 9800X3D processors on ASRock boards have been known for a month. Most motherboards were not affected. In addition to ASRock, a small percentage of Gigabyte, MSI, and ASUS boards were also reported to be affected.
Considering the main cases of failures, we can conclude that they occurred immediately after purchase. In some cases, the processors were burned out, while in others, the processors were not physically damaged, so the problem has not yet been definitively identified.
Also, the first Ryzen 9 9950X3D on an ASRock board with the latest BIOS version was recently reported to have failed. Less than 14 days had passed since the purchase, so the product was returned.
