Radeon RX 9060 XT: AMD's New Graphics Card with 16GB of Memory Has Appeared in an Online Store
12:58, 07.05.2025
While AMD is officially silent, Brazilian online store Terabyteshop has published a page with a yet-to-be-revealed Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card. The model features 16GB of GDDR6 video memory, which puts it in an advantageous position compared to future competitors from NVIDIA and Intel.
Gigabyte Graphics Card: 16 GB of Memory and Triple Cooler
Judging by the published specifications, Gigabyte is preparing an overclocked version of the video card — GV-R9060XTGAMING OC-16GD. In addition to a large amount of memory, it will get a massive cooling system with three fans and a 2.5-slot layout. The maximum resolution is 7680×4320, and the number of supported displays is up to four. The graphics card is equipped with modern connectors: two DisplayPort 2.1a and two HDMI 2.1a.
However, the specifications have raised questions among enthusiasts. The manufacturer indicates that the card requires an 850W power supply with only one 8-pin connector. That's unusually high, especially considering that even the older RX 9070 models usually make do with 750W. Perhaps it's an error on the retailer's side or an inflated benchmark with a margin.
RX 9060 XT May Come in Two Options — 8GB and 16GB Versions
While AMD itself hasn't confirmed the existence of the Radeon RX 9060 XT yet, rumors about it have been floating around for a few weeks now. It is known that the card will be built on the Navi 44 graphics chip and will have 2048 stream processors. Moreover, two versions are expected — with 8 and 16 GB of video memory.
Announcement is Expected at the End of May
The official announcement of Radeon RX 9060 XT may take place as early as May 21, during Computex 2025. While the price and exact specifications of the card are still unknown, the appearance of the page in the store may indicate a close start of sales.
