XeSS 3 MFG technology from Intel: multiple frame generation in games with XeSS 2 support and on Arc graphics cards

Intel has announced that the new driver will use XeSS 3 scaling technology. XeSS 3 MFG will offer the following modes: 2x, 3x, and 4x.

The company noted that XeSS 3 MFG technology will not require updates for existing games. Any game already developed that supports XeSS 2 additional frame generation will be fully compatible with the new technology. To enable the mode, you need to go to Intel Graphics Software. XeSS 3 technology will be available on Arc A and B series discrete graphics cards, as well as other Xe2/Xe3-based solutions.
At the Intel Tech Tour event, attendees had the opportunity to test XeSS. Most of the feedback after use was quite positive. The only possible issue may be some lag in fast-paced shooters.
The latest drivers introduce support for upcoming processors and offer updates for Intel Arc A/B, Meteor Lake, Core Ultra, Lunar Lake, and others.
