Users of Roblox, Zoom, Signal, Snapchat, Canva, Fortnite, Duolingo, and other apps and sites have experienced major issues with their functioning.

In the US-EAST-1 Region, Amazon Web Services noticed increased rates of errors due to the AWS Services. Tech experts immediately started working on figuring out the reason and a fix for this problem.
This issue has also impacted the functioning of several major banks such as Bank of Scotland, Halifax, and Lloyds. Some users could not log in to their banking apps, while others have experienced payment declines. This occurred because Amazon Services powers the infrastructure of lots of websites, which is why the problem is so widespread. Lots of applications are even running on AWS data centers.
As for now, it has been reported that more than 500 companies have experienced issues this morning.
Amazon is working on the issues, and lots of affected services have already been recovered. The troubles were probably connected with the Domain Name System, but there are no specific details yet.
