Nvidia plans to introduce Pro Blackwell Server Edition GPUs later this year. This will be a great option for the enterprises that are specifically oriented toward traditional as well as AI workloads.
It is expected that after the annual Nvidia SIGGRAPH conference, such companies as HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, and Supermicro will make GPUs available in 2U enterprise server systems.
Details regarding RTX Pro Servers
2U RTX Pro Servers are specifically designed to fit in the standard racks in the data centers, as well as meet specific IT requirements. It will be air-cooled and x86-based.
AI tasks now require a new level of computational intensity. That’s why RTX Pro Server will be a great transition for the general-purpose clusters to the AI factory without the necessity to overhaul a traditional data center approach.
The performance of 2U RTX Pro Servers will be 45 times higher when compared with traditional CPU-based workloads such as graphics rendering, data analytics, video processing, and more. Also, it will have lower ownership costs and higher energy efficiency.
