NVIDIA Is Preparing to Acquire One of the Giants of the PC Market

NVIDIA, a company whose market capitalization has reached a record $4.57 trillion, is introducing changes to its business model.
According to the analytical resource SemiAccurate, the company is conducting closed-door negotiations to acquire one of the largest computer hardware manufacturers. At this stage, the deal is in its final phase of negotiations and promises to become a major event in the industry.
The Financial Scale of the Potential Deal
Market figures highlight the enormous gap between NVIDIA and other tech giants. For example, Dell is valued at $121.7 billion, HP at $17.17 billion, and Asus at $13.55 billion.
NVIDIA’s financial capabilities allow it to acquire all three manufacturers combined, but even acquiring just one would be a major event for the industry.
The market has already reacted to the news, with Dell shares rising by 6% and HP’s by 4%.
What Happens If the Deal Goes Through?
If the deal is completed, NVIDIA will transform from a component supplier into a direct competitor to its current partners. This would give the company direct control over production, enable more aggressive marketing strategies, and provide new leverage over the entire computer hardware supply chain.
Despite this, the deal may face obstacles such as resistance from antitrust regulators and the need to obtain official approval.
